How to Enter Unicode Symbol on Windows
Alt+Numpad: This is a good method to enter Characters which are not displayed on normal keyboard hence we can type it using a combination of keys. NOTE: Num Lock should be on for pressing keys on Num Lock Board.
- Alt+<xxx>, where xxx is the decimal value of a code point, generates an OEM-encoded character.
- Alt+<0xxx>, where xxx is the decimal value of a code point, generates a Windows-encoded character.
- Alt+<+>+<xxxx>, where xxxx is the hexadecimal Unicode code point, generates a Unicode-encoded (UTF-16) character.
Example to type a heart press ALT and without releasing the ALT key press the 3 on numlock key.If you are from a laptop then press the 3 and function key. ALT + 3
